COVER DESIGN
‘HOW TO LOVE YOUR HOUSEPLANTS’ BOOK
This project came about as a freelance project, working with Eco Koala Publishing to create a custom illustration and book cover design for ‘How to Love your Houseplants’ by Amanda Green. Based on some reference mateirials, I created this character design of a ‘happy houseplant’ to compliment the cover design I developed. This was an open brief, with no existing branding or title design in use prior, so it was an exercise in creative expression in meeting the client and publisher’s hope for the final visuals. The result became available in both print copies and digital e-book. Available here.
