‘The Conversation is a global not-for-profit journalism project that pairs professional editors with academics to publish articles that share new research and explain issues in the news’

During my 18 months at The Conversation (TC) in a part-time capacity, I worked across brand development, digital design and internal editorial and campaigns.

In 2022, I developed the creative for the largest campaign of the year, which would span beyond The Conversation Australia & New Zealand to their international editions, including UK, US, Canada, France, Indonesia, Spain and Africa’s audiences.
The brief was to push the envelope of the young but simple brand, creating engaging visuals that would encourage re-occuring donations from existing subscribers, as well as reach new audiences.

Working closely with Design Director, the result was a visual language that felt true to the data visualisation work we had been developing alongside this campaign. It was the most successful donations campaign yet for The Conversation globally.
